Clear hydro generation lakes would most muskie spend winter suspended over deep water, on north and northwest creek channel last flat tapering from 10 to 30 Feet, or possibly up trout infested delay harvest main river. Generally to water does not get below 40degrees. Usually rains a lot when winter temperatures 45 to 55 days rivers become tomato soup or tea.

First choice would be any warm water discharge etc. in the absence of that my second would be where the food is!
