Questions about Making Your Own Lures

8" whiggley master

Decided to go back to a Larry D classic and sculpt myself a new Mr. Whiggley Master.

For those who are designing their own- this is my 12th attempt at making the perfect Mr. Whiggley by hand. Have had several prototypes that swam just ok, some that swam great but were just too darn big. Didn't start to get my prototype right until about the 8th attempt. Don't give up. When you have one that works right it's such a great lure.
