Wiggly for Roosters?

Postby dtrkyman » Tue Jul 26, 2016 8:13 pm

Larry with the preferred live bait in Northern Costa Rica being lady fish have you or anyone you know had success with a wiggley? I have been there several times, surf casting and casting from a boat while slow trolling live bait has come up with only one follow up on a large popper.

Surf casting where I have been has been tough for anything, couple jacks here and there.

It will work for sure, but i think your popper should be working a little better for you if you're in the right places. Be sure you are working it fast and aggressively enough. with roosters speed is often the main issue.
Good luck,
