Questions about Freshwater Fishing

have an interesting question for ya...

In your opinion and experience, how efficient do you think one of your dalhberg diver flys would be on conventional tackle, like a bass rig with lighter braid? Or maybe a spinning combo with light braid? The river i fish has shown everything there is to see, short of whiggly and your big fly.. Dont have a fly rod so im wondering what you think it can do and if it'll be effective or not...

You can make something with that design but use materials that are heavy enough to create a lure heavy enough to cast and you'd be close. Might be worth a try!
