Lake Trout

Larry, haven't seen a lot of threads on lake trout fishing so I was wondering if you could help me out. Going up to Northern Manitoba in late June for lakers, can you give me an idea of what depth and structure to look for. We have very good depth finders but I'm wondering if the water temp is around 49-53 degrees that they might not yet be in the holes yet. Where should I start? Thanks.

They really like the 48-52 degree water, which at the time you're going will be all over the place.
I'd identify the biggest holes then start searching the rims. The lakers will show up clearly on you sonar!
good luck,
L
