Cisco Kid lure Modifactions.

Postby jimicocopop » Mon Jan 15, 2007 10:18 am

Hi Larry,
On your show for Nile Perch. You talked about modifing a Cisco kid lure by exchanging the lip of a small cisco kid with the lip of a large cisco kid. What sizes of Cisco Kids do you use? Also I am new to fishing for Muskys. What lures would you recomend to start with.
Thanks,

hi J,
The lures referred to are the cisco kid 600 and 1800. For trolling, some of the old musky guys used to switch the lip from the 1800 to the 600.

I'd suggest you arm yourself with a few bucktails of assorted color and spinner size, a few gliding type jerk baits, a few cranks and both prop and zig zag type surface lures.

Good luck,
L
