The Hunt For Big Fish with Larry Dahlberg

I am not good at all with trying to make my models out of clay. They look like a failing kindergarten kid’s art project. Most of my design ideas are basically “tweaks” of existing soft plastics.

Some ideas I’ve had...

1 - suspend an existing bait and make a master out of RC-3 and sand off some changes. Looking for suggestions on materials I can glue to RC-3 molds

2 - cut and glue some different baits and use mend-it to “Frankenstein” something together. Then make a mold of that bait.

Are there other options? Thanks in advance.

In my experience, Skulpy is best "roughed in", then baked to make it firm enough to sand and shape.

Hello all

I am trying to make a mold and resin casting of a 3D printed part i made and i am having trouble casting it in resin. I made a mold with the high strength kit from alumilite and then tried casting a part in resin with it using a syringe to inject the resin into the mold.

I will attach a picture of the part Im trying to cast and of the part results i am getting. I am brand new to making molds and casting and figured you more experienced guys can give me some advice on what i should be doing haha.
