Decided to make a large stickbait that I can fish wacky style for the herring runs this spring

This is what I came up with. It’s 8”- heavily salted plastic. This was just a quick pour with some scrap stuff I have laying around. Pleased with the results. Action tested this morning and it looked awesome. Next time I mold it I’ll add a hookslot because when rigged weedless it has a great dart and glide action.

Honestly I think the salt settling in the mold helped to keep it keeled at the belly- didn’t roll at all surprisingly

Poured a few unsalted and it did want to flip when unweighted- so I used a 1/4oz weighted swimbait hook and it looked pretty slick . I can also probably just use some nail weights strategically to keep it belly down
