Questions about Making Your Own Lures

Woodchoppers

Larry does the rear double chopper lures float level sitting still? I made medium size chopper it will only float a single blade level. Increase lure size to increase floatation, then have most of the weight in the nose balance?

I think it sits with the rear down. If I were attempting to recreate one I would use AlumiFoam to avoid any lack of buoyancy issues.

Larry is correct when saying it sits with the rear down. I just put a few Amazon Rippers in a bucket and verified this.
