Mike, Larry and gang:
I have a fish I want to mold but I only have some Quick Set and some HS3 Silicone right now. I know the Quick Set will cure in the freezer, but how about the HS3? I want the super flexible Silicone for the pre-master if possible.
Thanks, just had my knee replaced and I am going crazy. As soon as I can set at my table I HAVE GOT to start another project.

It will definitely take longer to cure. Perhaps up to 24-48 hours. To help it ... I will often ... put it in the freezer for an hour ... pull it out for 30 minutes or so ... and repeat this process while I'm around it. If I go to work or go to bed, just leave it in the freezer.
The other thing worth mentioning is that I typically don't put in in the freezer for the first 20 minutes or so. I want it to start curing and do its thing before freezing it.

Thanks guys. I had planned on having it done, but I messed up and overworked my new knee and set my recover back. Leg swelled up bigger then one of Larry's balloons he fishes with. Ouch.
I will keep these things in mind.

Hey AA
Looks like your frozen fish, or at least a couple of ice bags from the freezer applied to your wounded knee might be In order! Hope it gets better soon!
best

Thanks guys. I have an machine that pumps ice water into a sleeve around the knee/leg to keep the swelling down. We go through about 15 pounds of ice a day. LOL
I just was feeling too good and decided to take the wife out to eat after only two weeks. STUPID mistake, but I am a slow learner.
