Bucktail style lures hook connections

What kind of treble hook or single j hook connection do Muskie anglers prefer? I see some with split ring and heat shrink tubing. Some hook and wire twist connection no heat shrink tube. Thinking about adding two split rings. I have made 30 homemade ones from size 14 double blades down to size 6 blades with single j hooks and treble. Stumps, lay downs and shoals in rivers are my primary targets.

I dont' think there's a consensus on that one. Main issue is that it be strong enough. The tubing is used to keep the rear hook from flopping around. Many think this arrangement yields higher hooking percentages, which I don't doubt.
