Any ideas on how to add a hard lip to a soft plastic bait? Thinking about making the head out of alumalite part a & b, gluing in a hard lip. Just trying to figure out how to get the soft plastic to fuse with the hard...

There are several lures constructed in that a manner. Often a wire "screw or coil" in the back of the head plus some glue is how they are joined.
