Alumi-UV uneven gloss

Postby CheCT » Sat May 07, 2016 3:02 pm

I'm using this light set up http://solacure.com/cue2.html and hagens bait turning motors. 1 lure per motor
I brush on the A-UV and then turn it for a couple minutes to make sure its nice and even, then flip on the lights.
They're turning about 2 - 3 inches from the lights.
Some spots have a really nice high gloss while others are flat and kinda grainy.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

I would suspect that those sections are curing at different speeds ... perhaps the glossy is closer or at a more direct angle to the lights than the matter finish area of the lure. If the material moves or flows during the cure, it can haze more than an area that snap cures due to the proximity or angle to the light source.
