Questions about Making Your Own Lures

Soft plastics in Workshop videos of DVD series

Mr. Dahlberg,

I watched the Workshop videos from the 1989-2015 DVD collection. Thought provoking! I don't use a lot of big soft plastics, and that's partly because they're expensive and they get all ripped up easily. Your demos about making them are intriguing. It makes big (over about 5" in fish designs) soft plastics a lot more appealing. Under about 5" I can pretty much find whatever I want, and cheaply. What are the cost savings like when making your own big soft plastics?

(By the way, nice 335. Mine is a red dot model with mesa amp. Do you play much? I'm a blues guy on hiatus studying jazz sax for another year.)

Hi Q
Cost savings on large soft plastic is several hundred percent. Not to mention you can get what you want.
