Questions about Making Your Own Lures

Allumidust

Hello,
I absolutely love the metallic look and customization of allumidust. My question is if there is a way you reccomend getting my lure to glow in the dark with powder, and also using allumidust. My only idea is to mix the glow in the dark powder with the plastisol but am not sure if this will work.

Thank you for your time,
Tyler

For sure, just mix in some glow in the dark powder and it will glow as long as nothing is blocking the light that can get to the powder.
I've found that most of the time, just a little can make a big diff. when targeting members of the cod family and often halibut and lake trout in deep dark water it can make a big diff used in liberal amounts in head, skirt or both.
often good with just a quarter inch or so in the tail or head or in band in the middle of a soft plastic.
obviously also a good call for swordfish, or realllly dirty freshwater anything.
let us know how it works out!
best
