Questions about Making Your Own Lures

New member, new baits

Postby School Master » Wed Jan 06, 2016 7:18 am

What's up everyone,

New member can't wait to get my hands dirty! Mostly a soft bait guy, but I'm just getting started into casting some hardbaits like crankbaits and topwaters, so I figured this would be a great place for help.

Seen some posts on 3D printing lately. I am a designer and have a fair amount of experience with 3D printing. This is my newest swimbait done with a printer. Looking forward to sharing ideas and getting tips as well!

Hi SM!
Welcome to the gooper group! I'm jealous of your 3D cad capabilities. With those skills the possibilities are endless when it come to creating new designs. As Mike and the Alumilite team continue to come up with new materials and processes we can pull off in our basement workshops, it get even better when it comes to "possibilities".
have a great 2016
best
