Big crankbaits with wire threw design. The center of gravity is so low that the crankbaits right them self or balance like eggs on equinox days. I guess in the water when they deflect of object will stay running true or back to true tune?

Yup, it's a great way. Remember, upward buoyancy has the same effect as weight on the bottom. Granted the weight isn't as concentrated but that can be achieved by added lead to a specific place when the bottom layer gets poured.

Made the cankbait lip out of 12"x12" lexan sheet. Nice to be able to control depth with angle and action with shape of lip. Started making on crankbaits after wearing out plastic lips on $7.00 and $14.00 squarebills after one or two days on the water.

Thinking about making some big crankbaits with super plastic and 310 foam using brass for wire harness, small gauge 7 stand wire or tooth proof wire for vertical and horizontal reinforcement to add strength to the body for tension and compression, for big fish strikes. Uv epoxy finish it off.

I would use Alumifoam rather than 320. Then no need for any reinforcement.
