I am a fish carver. I recently watched one of your shows where you air brushed lures with colored ink. You gave the name of the system you used but I didn't catch it. I carve fish and air brush some detail. I have been using acrylics, bur would like to try something like you were using. You featured it during the wolf fish or peacock show.
thanks Mike

It's a system of alcohol based based inks and quick change pens made by Copic. check hobby lobby, dick blick, micheals, other hobby or art type places. It can be used with or without a compressor. It needs to be applied dark over light, so some adjustment in ones order of doing things is needed, and you can't put light scales over a dark background with the system but it sure is quick and handy and can yield some nice results.

yes, it creates a semi transparent finish and needs to be coated with a clear coat.
