Everyone,

I'm trying to make a popper and had a couple of questions.
1. what kind of foam would you recommend?
2. As my mold should I use the mold putty or the quick set?
3. can you dye the alumifoam or any of the other foams?
4. what kind of wire would you recommend?

I would recommend High Strength 1, Quick Set, or Plat 55. Putty normally does not give you as clean of a seam line which the foam will expand out of so I like liquid rubbers for foam molds.

Either 610, Alumifoam, or even Flex Foam as Larry showed in one of his more recent videos.

Alumifoam would probably be my personal choice and yes you can dye any of them.

Depending on the size of the popper, I'd go with the smallest brass wire or maybe the mid size if its a little larger lure.
