Alumifoam Q

I am designing my next Frankenstein lure and want to use foam in the head (like you would c in a huddleston) my questions;
1 Is alumifoam (in any of the three hardnesses) the right product for this application?
2 will any/all of the alumifoam mixes float?
3 will the alumifoam mixes and the alumasol adhere to each other or will the hot alumasol melt it?
4 if I want to embed the hook through the alumasol and into the foam which mixture would you recommend?
Thank you

I can help some, but Mike or Larry will need to help on the rest.

1) All of the foams could work, with the proper application, but I suggest the 610 or the Alumifoam.
2) All float very well. 320 is the lightest, but also the softest. 610 about as buoyant as balsa, Alumifoam about like Cedar.
3) Alumasol of Plastisol products adhering to the foams?????????? Can't help you on this one. I also can't tell you about re-melting the foams, but I doubt it.
4) Embedding the hooking in the 610 or Alumifoam would be easy.

These are my observations, I hope it helps for now.

The Bass have been getting sore lips so I think as soon as the cold spell passes I might need to start working out the methods for some Reds and Speckled Trout. I have not got the right language down, but the locals seem to tolerate me just fine. LOL

I think I am going to like it down here. Thanks Larry.
