Hello all,

Want to introduce the long awaited uv coating Larry and I have been working on. This is an affordable, 1 part black light or UV cure resin that produces a high gloss, durable finish that is great for resin, plastic, polymer clay, wood, or metal. Here is a link to the product page on our new Alumilite site. This product will be available on makelure.com as soon as the new makelure.com site is up in a couple weeks.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks Mike, I have been telling people how great this stuff was, now they can test it for themselves. Best clear coat for lures I have ever used, by far.

You're gonna like it! It's also great for rod guides and putting a quick super slick glaze on a master before you cast it.

Looks like a great product! I am wondering the best way to apply it and if it could be used to freshen up older resin cast lures that have taken some abuse.

It can be dipped or brushed and does a great job of re-coating old resin. I'm using 4' black light tubes in a couple of cheap "garage" light fixtures to cure it.
best,
L

Is it good for re-coating wood lures that have been beat up by fish?

Sure it will work for that, but you will only have a beat up looking lure with a fresh clear coat. I'd suggest repainting first.
