I just received my whiggley order and wow. First off I wasn't expecting 2 per pack and second it's no wonder they took so long the construction is amazing. Larry is their a recommended way to pull the leader thru and second what knot do u recommend for tying braid to the split ring or the wire leader loop? Again thanks for the lure looks amazing.

Thanks danny

Glad you got them. First remove the split ring, then thread a piece of fishing line thru the tube. Put end you threaded thru the tube thru the loop in the wire and feed the line back thru the tube and you can use it to pull the wire thru. Reinstall split ring. I use a 4 shouldered uni knot.
good luck,
L

Agreed, the 2-pack adds a lot of value! This lure would've sold out in the same amount of time, even if it had one Whiggley.

Larry, your knot advice made me wonder, have you ever thought about adding additional parts to your website? Maybe a knot-tying section or maybe additional video features? There is a short video out there, where you're demonstrating the Wide Glide, I thought that was a great instructional video with great tips.
Just thinking out loud here.

I'm trying to make some time to put the production Whiggley in the water this weekend, I'll hopefully have some pictures or stories to share. Anyone else out there with a production Whiggley have any pictures or fish stories to share?

it's a uni knot with 4 turns. I'm sure you can find it on the web if you google uni knot.
