Hey Larry Or Mike Would Adding Microballoons To Alumifoam Make It Float And Can You Add Dye Or Alumidust.

I am sure not Larry or Mike, but ...... I use Alumifoam a lot.

Alumifoam floats already, adding Microballons is unnecessary and probably will do little. In fact, Alumifoam floats like Cedar Wood, but is much tougher in my opinion.

I have added some dyes, and it works, but remember that the Alumifoam is an off yellow/white to begin with, so that color is something that will mix into the blend of colors. Personally, I don't normally use dyes in the Alumifoam any more because I don't get true colors.

You can dust your mold and the Alumidust works fine with the Alumifoam. The Alumifoam skins over very well in the mold, and the color of the dust transfers well.
I think my bucket list has a hole in the bottom!
