Tackle maker, wire forming

Postby warpsyrhead » Wed May 28, 2014 3:18 pm

Larry, AlumaMike, or anyone else:

Larry, I've seen you use the Boggs Tacklemaker on the advanced Mr. Whiggley video. Have you used any other wire forming tools? I've seen a few different models available from TwistTech, EZ Twist, Little Blue Bender, etc.

Has anyone used any of these or have one? Positives and negatives of each?

Thanks,
Brian

I have the Hagen's wire bender & like it a lot & have no complaints. I have the extra adpapter for bending the heavier wire. I make small inline spinners for bass & larger inline bucktails for musky.

I have the hagens and the boggs. The hagens is more expensive but better for spinners and such. The boggs is limited but still a must have.
