it is very buoyant, and very strong plus bonds with super plastic. great for most floating lures.

Thank you,Larry !!!

Is it possible use the Alumifoam to make directly the Whopper Plopper's body (to fish for pike), instead to make before the skin of the body with the Alumilite White and then fill with the foam 610 ?

Yes, you can use AlumiFoam as a single shot to make Whopper Plopper bodies instead of the two step process. It is extremely durable and bouyant.

Thank you Mike !!!

That's great !!!

May I add to alumifoam a dye (black, orange, yellow or red, etc. ) or is it better paint the body after to have cast the foam in the mold ?
If it is possible add a dye, must I add the dye in one of two components (A or B component ) and then mix both the components (A+B) or may I add the dye after have mixed both the components ( A+ B ) ?

I believe it'll work if you add the dye in, you may want to test it on a small amount of alumifoam just to see first though.

it works fine with dye, also picks up alumidust quite well. however, when you use dye, it's not so easy to see the color change from cream to root beer so be sure to stir it adequately.

Thank you,Larry and RhettWheeler !!!

I will try as you suggested to me .Otherwise I will paint it.
In this case (painting) have I to clean the Alumifoam with acetone or with a nitro thinner, etc. before to use a white primer or directly paint with the white primer ?

it's always a good idea to do that no matter what. even a light sanding with very fine grit doesn't hurt for bonding paint.
