shrimp lure mould

I am trying to make a soft shrimp lure mould (whole - with head).But do not know how to keep legs in tack as i remove it from mould ,and what type of material to make mould out of.Any suggestions? :P

Use High Strength 3. If the body parts stick in the mold, which they usually do, just dig them out or flush them out with an airgun or water.

Thank you Larry. After product is ready and coloured,what do i put on as a clear coat? Have been told different ideas.

If you are making the shrimp from soft plastic, no clear coat is needed.
Suggest you look thru the tutorials on Makelure.com if you have not already. It will greatly shorten your learning curve, plus make it unnecessary for me to answer the same question multiple times.

I'd simply Alumidust it and heat gun it to lock in the color. Take a look at a few of the last tutorial videos on makelure.com ... lot of technique stuff on Alumidust lately. Send some pics of what your shrimp looks like as well. Would be interested to see how it turns out. Us freshwater guys would like to see what you are creating as well as how it works.
