Has anyone attempted a palolo worm imitation for tarpon fly rodding with soft plastic?

Good question. Not enough time here for discussion, but that little worm has a fascinating life cycle, and what it really is might surprise you. The Polynesian islanders have a ceremony where they harvest and eat them!
BTW, anything made of soft plastic is going to be miserable to cast, and nearly impossible to keep on the hook compared to fiber or feathers.
