Heat up a large beaker of clear Alumisol and dip the lure in it. Another option to get a similar, but less thick effect is to hit it with a heat gun to glaze the surface.

Can you reuse the alumisol or is it a one time deal after its heated, I currently use a small torch to the rubber and works great, now im trying alumidust and dry erase marker and possibily some print is alumisol the way to go? Thanks LARRY

you can use it over and over and over, after three or four remeltings you might notice it's a little stiffer. I usually cut it up into smaller pieces before remelting. You can then add a little softener to the plastisol before you remelt it to get rid of the stiffness.
Also, if you're really careful and heat it slowly, stirring often, it will say more clear and soft than if you really bomb it and get it smoking like crazy.
