Bucktail Dye ???

I have some white tied bucktails on a wire coil ,,, what should I use to dye them black ??? ----- thanks ----- jim

Actually, it would be easier to re-tie the coils with black hair than it would be to dye the white ones you have.
Bucktail is not easy to dye. Especially black. I've done it using RIT, but it took a long time and repeated efforts. I don't recommend it.
I would imagine regular hair dye would work also, but again it would likely be easier, cheaper and less messy to start from scratch!

AK Best wrote a great book called Dying and Bleaching Natural Fly tying Materials. It's a very valuable resource.
