Bogg's Tacklemaker??

Postby johndtuttle » Fri May 18, 2012 7:28 pm

Hey guys,

Hoping one of the Lure Building gurus has used this product: Bogg's Tackle Maker.

It looks great for making harnesses accurately and properly and fast and wondered if anyone has used it with stainless wire up to 0.61" diameter? The Manf. states that it is good up to 0.51" but most commonly available stainless wire for offshore use is 0.61"....wondered if you could get by and use it for this slightly larger size of wire used for Big Fish...?

Any help?

Thx for all replies .

I have attempted it and would not suggest doing it. There's one made in canada that sells for I think around $150 that's sturdy enough to do the job.

best,

Thanks for that Larry. I'll look into it.

Gotta hook you up someday with my friends John Delacruz owner of Panama Sportfishing Lodge and go popping for Cubera. Top Notch Operation, top notch accommodations.

best, keep inspiring,

John
