question on the whopper plopper

Postby 91boostedgmc » Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:50 pm

Hi,

I just started making my own plastics and have a couple questions on products. First I was wondering what type of flex is used to make the whopper plopper tail? (I'm guessing flex 60 but want to make sure before I order). Second I made a mag bulldog mold and it works very nice but when I try to stack colors It either seperates when I let the first color dry or bleeds into the next color when I pour both plastics hot into each other. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks.

WP tail is flex 80. To get an even color layer you must let the first layer set up before pouring the second.

I just want to add; make sure the second layer is very hot to prevent delaminating.
