That is a really good question, one I had not considered before.
Tungsten is found in light bulbs, so it conducts electricity. Because it conducts electricity, it is possible that you could get some sparking.
Still, microwave ovens are not dangerous to us when you microwave metal in them, but it can damage the Magnatron in the microwave (makes the radar waves) if you do too much of it.
Here are my thoughts on it ................... Don't do it in your wifes good microwave, but I will be willing to do it in my second hand store microwave. I will remove most of the tungsten first if I can.
I think my bucket list has a hole in the bottom!
