Questions about Making Your Own Lures

Larry.... regarding your You Tube video on Alabama Rigs....

.... I don't know if it's a big deal, but Tammy Poss, the wife of the alleged inventor, Andy Poss, has been harrassing folks on You Tube about referring to their rigs as "Alabama Rigs"... threatening legal action, yada yada.... apparently they have registered the name as a trademark or something. I don't know if she's ready to take on someone of your stature in the business, but I just wanted to give you a "heads up".

I guess we'll all have to take our chances. Thanks for the heads up. As most of us know, the spreader, or umbrella rig has been used in various permutations for everything from billfish and tuna to stripers in both salt and fresh water for many years. I fully respect the name, trademark, and efforts of the people making and marketing the rig, and hope my passing mention of it's popularity and where it's being promoted helps more people become aware of it!
