Can you use the alumidust on aluminum, 2 pc injection molds? I'm going to use the silicone and make a4 cavity worm mold but I'm getting alot of interest on custom worms and baits and injection molds may be faster. Just thinking ahead...

Thanks

Quite honestly, I've not tried it on aluminum molds. My guess is that since aluminum is pretty porous it will most likely work, but I'd try it to make sure before investing in a mold.

I have not tried injection molding but I would be concerned that the dust may tend to migrate in the direction that the casting material moves through the mold...then again it may work great. Please let us know.

I've been looking at injection molds and it looks like it won't allow much custom work. I guess that's why we went with hand pouring in the first place. When you use injection you are really limited in what you can do. Now, off to make the perfect motor oil fire tail 6 " worm!!!
