Advanced Mr. Whiggley Help

Postby zach1022 » Thu Feb 09, 2012 2:15 am

Mr. Dahlberg,

I'm wanting to give advanced Whiggley a shot. Viewing your video, I'm stumped on how to make the tail mold. The part that I can't wrap my head around is the third piece, the one you pour through. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to mention, very slick on the musky show using leadcore with Whiggley to get him down to proper depths.

Thanks Mr. Dahlberg

THe separate tail section design of that particular mold was done so we could experiment with different tails.

I'd suggest doing a simple two piece mold, and incorporating the eye/axle concept as show in advanced Whig.

Hi Larry, I hope you don't mind me chiming in with two related questios. First, do you like that tail in the vid?...it's much thinner than any of mine. Second, does moving the point where the rigging pin (wire) is anchored to the bait back to the eye effect the action...is so, how/why?

Thanks,

Andy
