I have been wondering what kind of soft plastic is used to make those tough, stretchy, lures. I am thinking about the legs on the Dahlberg Diveing Frog, and other soft plastic lures I have seen in the past. I would like to get some to experiment with on my own designs. Is this stuff an Alumisol product? Where can I get some? Do I heat and mix it like I would plastisol? Have any other forum users played with this stuff?
I may very well be wrong, but I seem to recall Larry commenting on a post a year or so ago that the frog leg material was not available to the home lure maker.
Perhaps that has changed, but ....... I don't think so.
Tank you for the fast reply to my question. It saved me from wasteing time, looking for goop that is not yet available. Thats a shame however, it sure would help us make more durable lures.
