Questions about Making Your Own Lures

Wire size

Postby Darlene » Sun Nov 18, 2012 1:15 pm

Hi, Larry! It was good meeting you at the Bass-A-Thon yesterday. Enjoyed your seminar as well. 8)

I forgot to ask...what size brass wire do I need to make the line ties and hook hangers on my molded crankbaits? Any suggestions on where to buy the wire?

We have the wire online at the Alumilite website if you can't find it locally. .045 range should be great.

I looked on the Alumilite website but only found stainless steel wire. I looked three times...did I miss the brass wire?

It is right above the stainless on the Makelure.com site. Here is a link ... http://makelure.com/ProdDetail.cfm?Category=Support Products&Name=Brass Wire Coils
