Larry,
Going to Cancun 2nd week of January who do you recomand for some Marlin or other BIG game fish down there that time of year. Last year went to Costa Rica and did not do any research a head of time and was not too happy about our fishing exp.

Sorry, but I don't have any personal contacts in that area, as I try to avoid Mexico of late! Perhaps another board reader can make a suggestion.

Hi Darren,

You may be able to get into some mahi-mahi but you will have to probably get a very large boat and get 40 miles+ out of Cancun to have a decent shot at Marlin. IMO -you are on the wrong side of Mexico for decent billfishing.
