Hi L, I just bought the shimano compre heavy action musky rod 7.2" and wow! i'm impressed by the feel and look of the rod. The little musky painted on the butt section is nice too!
I was wandering if I could use that rod for saltwater fishing also. Would it be corrosion resistant like the teramar or should I keep it just for freshwater fishing?
best regards

It should be just fine. My rods are mostly freshwater rods and they are in good condition after years of saltwater use. Just rinse your outfit very gently in the shower after each day of fishing to take the salt off. Then let it air dry.
