shimano cardiff

Does any one use the shimano cardiff in salt water??? If yes ,for what and how does it hold up??? thanks???

i hav the 400a, use it for trolling/drifting halibut and stripers in sf bay. drifting up to 12oz and trolling more like 8oz, usually spool with 17lb plineCXX tough reel. recently got it serviced by shimano and im gong right back to hard usage this season.

thanks so much for the info just bought the 301 ,looks great. hope it holds up to the salt ,and tarpon.. thank you again
