Columbia Tarpon Episode

Larry,
I just finished watching the episode when you're hosting a bass fishing tournament in Columbia and then you fish the show fishing for tarpon in Columbia. What kind of tackle were you using for those Tarpon? It looked like a Shimano Curado 300 but I wasn't sure. How did it hold up? Thanks for your help.

You are right about the reel. I've had absolutely no problems with the curado series and I have beaten them to death!!

I gotta say that was about the best episode ever! I appreciate the travel log like info you produce and its very helpful to get a more detailed view of the life down there. Typical american has no idea what is truly down there and just how special the people are too. The closest Ive gotten is Curacao but Suriname is in my gunsites.
