Rod for Curado

Postby BJNestor » Fri Nov 26, 2010 5:37 pm

I'm looking to upgrade the rod I have for my Curado 300, and I'm split between the Teramar and the new Terez Waxwing. I mainly use this for calico fishing at the islands or along the coast, usually throwing plastics or the new waxwing. Any recommendations?

that's a tough call! The teremar is a great rod for lots of different things, but the Terez is tuned for the wax wings!

If the main lure you plan to use is the Waxwing then go with the Terez. The MH will handle some plastic duties as well. It is a little slower which I like when fishing plastics for Calico. It also has enough power to pull on that occasional yellowtail.
