The armoral is great for the line...not so good for the environment. Once in a blue moon isnt gonna cause any problems I would reckon. Just clean it with warm water and a mild detergent, then dress it with a flyline dressing, there are many available. Youll be amazed at the results of just cleaning the line with the mild detergent. It'll bring it back to life. Its the dirt and grit that sticks to the line that causes it not to shoot and causes floating lines to sink.

Keep it clean, then re-apply armorall when it gets sticky!
