Trophy Roosters

Hi Larry

If you would like to try for great Roosters I would suggest that you try Pedasi in Panama. http://www.panadventure.com
The lodge is owned and operated by Pascal Artedia, who I believe you fished with in your quest for a tropy Nile Perch.

A month ago I caught a 100 pound rooster, yes 100 pound and that was one of three 95 pound plus fish in a period of 2 months.

According to Pascal these monster roosters are pretty common throughout the year.

Contact PAscal and I am sure that he would love to host you in unspoily Pedasi Panama.

Hi A
Thanks for the tip! Hopefully one of these days I can check it out. I've caught big ones in the same class you are talking about while using live bonitos in 45-90 feet of water off the rock slides along steep cliffs but have never gotten one of the really big guys to commit to a lure. They really are a cool fish. The mecca for them is the Coco's islands.
best,
L
