The Hunt For Big Fish with Larry Dahlberg

I am in a bind for looking the best spinning reel for the Shimano Tiralejo 9'0 with LC guides 1 piece. I have used a Daiwa Emcast Plus 5000 but it would not get secured properly on the adjustable reel seat and even my Shimano Baitrunner 6500 which I use for my Tiralejo 12'0 has the same dilemma. I was wondering if there is a spinner reel that would be secured and not having a small foot print reel foot. I really prefer a Shimano reel but most of them have the same reel foot size.
