Azores Bluefish

Larry, have you ever considered a fishing trip to the Azores for some monster bluefish and other species. I know a couple guys that would love to see a bluefish show.

what do you consider to be big bluefish? we get them 10-15lbs all summer and fall.. pound for pound fun fish to catch..

Are those in Azores? I consider big to be larger than 18 lbs.

No they are NJ fish, there is only one species of bluefish.. We get them up to 20lb but they are not as common as the 15lb and under fish. 18 pounders will win all the bluefish tournaments around here..

The ones in the picture are around 30" 12lb
