Torsa or Talica

Hey Larry i was wondering if i was better off buying a Torsa or buying the new Talica because i want a reel thats going to last a long time no matter what i use it for. Thanks a lot for your time.

I've fished the Torsa a bunch, and for fish larger than it was designed for and never had even the slightest problem.
I've not fished the Talica so I really can't comment on it. If pure toughness and reliability are your main issues it would be hard to go wrong with a Torsa!

The Tallica will do everything the Torsa will do, but its a 2 speed. If you want a powerful single speed the Torsa is at the top of the list. There are some advancements in technology with the Tallica (mainly the EI treatment). Both reels will serve you well for a long time.
