More Wire ?'s

Postby Grandpa21 » Thu Jul 09, 2009 12:53 pm

So I've searched all over for some stainless wire in the 0.050+ range and the best option I found was good ol' McMaster-Carr. Have you had better luck with a certain stainless over another? I noticed American fishing wire and other manufacturers us a 304 Stainless but McMaster has a 316 that's suppose to be more corrosion resistant and is way cheaper. Any input on this?

Just got the workshop dvd and mold kit last night. Great Job on the dvd. Once I get some wire I'll be able to get to work!

Thanks Larry,

Ryan

I've been getting wire in the past at hobby stores, but it's hit and miss. From the specs the mcmaster stuff looks pretty darn good and I'm sure it will work fine.
good luck!
best,
