pickin out rod for stella

Hi Larry i just got a stella 3000fd and dont know which rod to pick out. i do red fishing snook and trout at the mosquito lagoon. my buddy let me try his gloomis greenwater and it just feels heavy i want something light and thats going last. what would you suggest that i should get.

What style of fishing, tossing lures or soaking cut crabs or shrimp?

mostly lures. Once in blue moon ill use crab or shrimp or mullet. i just like seeing fish hit lures its just more fun even when its a top water. i use 15lb powerpro if that helps you to for size and style or rod.
