I will be heading to CR this summer. We will be staying in and around Tarcoles and Jaco. Would you be able to recommend any of the fishing charters in the vicinity? Also, I would like to try some fishing from the shore line. What type of bait and lure would you recommend? Thanks for your help...........

Don't know of any charters there.
From the surf a combination of jigs, swim baits, minnow lures and topwater surf lures usually fills the bill.
Sizes up to 4-6" or so on lures.
